We create age-appropriate programs for schools, libraries, pre-schools, day-cares, churches, after-school activities, youth groups such as FFA, 4-H, science clubs, scouts, community center camps and workshops, corporate functions, or other special event. The goal of Animal Wonders is to have our students leave a program feeling as strongly and appreciative of conservation and wildlife as our educators do. We currently have a number of programs/events that are open to the public throughout the Kansa City area.

Based in rural Johnson County, Missouri, Animal Wonders we also provides exotic animal rescue. Doing so has led us to create a series of programs to help curb the trend of unwanted pets. All too often an exotic pet is purchased with little or no research and when this pet becomes to large or unmanageable it is either released into the wild (to face death or harm to native fauna), euthanized (because shelters are too crowded and zoos cannot take them in), or simply die due to improper housing or diet. Our programs are designed to help families and potential pet owners to make informed and responsible decisions before purchase.

Our animals are for educational purposes; they are not circus acts or performers. Animal Wonders is fully insured and licensed with the state of Missouri. Our animals/facilities are inspected by the USDA, Missouri Department of Conservation and the Missouri Department of Agriculture.
