My partner and I have moved from the Middle Tennessee area so that I may continue my education at the University of Missouri. We both have strong agricultural backgrounds, covering both animals and plants. For the past 5 years we have operated a small-scale meat and dairy CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm that serviced over 25 families. John, my partner, has extensive experience with heavy machinery, row crops, and draft animals (mules and horses). My area is with animals, everything from dairy goats to market hogs. I also have just earned a BS in Animal Science, which has brought me to Missouri to work on a PhD in Rural Sociology, or the Sociology of Agriculture.

What we're looking for is a farmhouse to live in. We'd like to work in exchange for rent, however we can afford up to $500 per month. Simple as that. We can provide as many references as you need, both professional and personal.
