I am a professional male, 32 yrs taking evening classes, so will be away most of the time. I am not loud and prefer someone quiet and with no pets. I have a nice 2 bed 1 bath apt off of Amelia and Williams for $295 / mo and additional utilities and internet/cable (which come to about $350 /mo).

My apt is about 1 mile from Columbia College and Stephens College campus and about 1.5 - 3 miles from the Mizzou Campus, depending on where you are headed. Its close to a bus stop, takes a few minutes to get on to I-70 and about a mile from the Stephens lake, so I think this is a perfect location in terms of campus accessibility. The neighbors are very friendly.

I have all living room furniture and a washer/dryer too. I like to keep my apt fairly clean and will expect the same from my potential room mate.

The entire house is really nice - it was all completely remodeled in 2005 - so the carpets, walls, windows, bathrooms, kitchen - everything is very up-to-date. There is a large kitchen and living room - both of which are fully furnished. The bedroom available is set away from the other three bedrooms a bit and directly next to a bathroom you would share with one other girl. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and a closet with a built-in organizer. The carpet is tan and the walls are a light green color. The bedroom is not furnished.

Our landlord is very easy to work with, though there is a strict no-pets policy. There won't be a subleaser fee, you would just sign a subleaser agreement with me and start paying rent. The rent is $413.41 each month and the utilites range anywhere from $40 - $90. Ours were usually low, we kept the heat low in the winter. High-speed wireless internet is already set up and very cheap - around $4 a month because it is split between the whole house. You can move in starting any time, the room is empty now. My lease runs through May - so that is when our subleaser agreement would end. My roommates will all be leaving then, so if you wanted friends to move in, you could certainly talk to our landlord about staying.

Deposits are one months rent and the utility system deposit.
The utility system works like a bank account your deposit is $250 dollars and utilities are automatically taken out of that each month and it is your duty to refill that 250. at the end of the lease you recieve both your deposits back.
