Accomplishments/Leadership
• Worked my way into the adaptive and creative programs in school, both brought about more and more advanced learning.
• Researched the guidelines and implemented a GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) organization in my high school. This involved seeking out a faculty member who would support and sponsor the group, as well as presenting the idea to administration for approval. The organization was very successful at providing a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation, and work to end homophobia.
• Successfully ran the sound/light equipment for a high school play performance.
• Taught myself web page design as well as various other computer applications including the microsoft office suite and salonbiz.
•Graduated from the System a Paul Mitchell Partner School at the top of my class.
