Antique Knights Templar Masonic ceremonial sword with original scabbard. Likely late 1800s to early 1900s fraternal lodge regalia.
Features:
• Ornate knight helmet pommel
• Decorative cross pattée guard with chain detail
• Etched decorative blade with scrollwork
• Marked Baltimore on the blade
• Scabbard with “In Hoc Signo Vinces” emblem and red cross
• Handle engraved “Geo. M. Gittinger” (original lodge member)
This type of sword was used by members of the Knights Templar commandery within Freemasonry for ceremonial lodge functions.
Condition:
Very good antique condition with normal age wear. Blade etching still visible and sword displays very nicely. Includes original scabbard.
