Antique slant top writing desk with drawer. It is obviously hand built and is possibly from the late 1800's. It is entirely made from solid walnut. The main top is ONE SOLID PIECE and shows rough saw mill marks on the bottom side and was attached to the frame with SQUARE nails which I have saved. The draw dovetails, mortis and tenons are obviously hand cut as the are not exactly alike. The pictures speak for themselves. The draw does have a brass lock but unfortunately I do not have the key. The finish is rough but it is not beat or dinged up, there are not deep gouges in it anywhere I can see. Overall it is in very good condition for it's and should clean up nicely.

It is 37 1/2" wide, 30" deep, 29" tall at the front and 30 1/2" tall at the back. The one piece top is 37 1/2" wide and 19 1/2 deep.

You can contact me thru the Craigslist thing. If the add is up then it is still available. Bring a truck or large SUV as it will NOT fit in a car, the legs do not come off.
