This is a hand-made railroad crossing gate. It was made for our children's playroom, which they have outgrown.
Features:
* It is entirely made out of wood
* Made to scale.
* The arm has nine pegs for hanging things on, such as dress-up clothes, hats and other toys.
* The arm can raise and lower (manually).
* The lights can be turned on and separately alternate on/off like real crossing lights. This includes the two main, large lights and the three smaller ones along the arm.
Dimensions: 8' 1.25" high and 7' 3" wide
The height can be reduced by cutting off unneeded length from the top.
We have a 9' ceiling in the room this was in. If you need it cut down to fit an 8' ceiling, give me a precise measurement and I'll make the adjustment for you.
This attaches to the wall at several points along the main post and at a support bracket for the arm. You wold need several appropriate length screws to attach it, fill any holes and touch up with semi-gloss white paint.
Included: all the railroad gate parts, the STOP ON RED SIGNAL sign and a short story about why this was built in the first place.
