MacGregor 19 Sailboat. Very nice boat design. Popular as a power/sail boat.
Bought the boat in 2020, planned to make it into a solar powered boat using Torqeedo Cruise 2.0 motor. So, I sold the gas motor and the project has been on hold for over 3 years. At my age of 81, it doesn't look like I'll get the project finished any time soon. So I'm making the boat without the motor available for someone that can put it to good use.

The boat has been stored in my back yard and been looked over and kept clean periodically. All inside cushions are in good condition and have been stored inside in a climate controlled area. The mast, boom, shrouds, sails etc have been stored off the floor in a metal shed. Jib is roller furling. It is my understanding that the sails were in good condition when I bought the boat but I have not unfurled them to inspect their condition. The trailer is an unmodified MacGregor trailer. Tires are so so. I hauled it from Wisconsin to Missouri on the tires, but would advise either newer tires or spares if going any long distance. The trailer has been jacked up during the duration so that the tire were not under load. Two items needing repair. 1) The starboard floor where fuel tank sits is cracked. My fault. Floor at that area is stable but water does seep through into the hull. 2) Prior to my purchase the transom sill had been modified by lowering the sill height. Possibly, in order to fit a motor. ??
