Are you in a rut and tired of playing the same patterns and licks? Do you want to move beyond being ruled by your fingers and a few comfortable fingerboard shapes/patterns ?

Is being more spontaneous, more conversational, a little looser, able to improvise and react in the moment, and think better on your feet a goal?

Would you like to bring your understanding of music, your instrument, and your bass playing up to the same level as your chops? ...or beyond? Let me help.

Good news.... it's NOT voodoo or brain surgery!

I'm a working, experienced pro who's been performing for 40 yrs and teaching almost as long.

Lessons are geared and tailored directly towards individual student's needs and are not "one size fits all" cookie cutter lessons.

I'll work with you to address the specific area(s) that you feel need attention and together we'll tailor YOUR lesson(s) towards that end.

Since all students are different with different needs and different styles of learning... YOUR lessons are geared and tailored directly towards YOUR needs.

You can learn the fundamentals of music, chord theory, how to achieve a great tone on acoustic or electric, or just gain some insight into issues that might be holding you back.

Rock, blues, jazz, reggae, folk, country, bluegrass...all styles and genres of music.

Any style of music can be addressed. Lessons are insightful and fun. Together we can work on songs, scales, chords, arpeggios, licks, notation, exercises, and tablature. We can talk about developing efficient and successful practice habits and routines. And if necessary we can diagnose any bad habits and work towards correcting them.

Learn at your own pace. One on One with no pressure, deadlines, or contracts to sign.

All study materials will be provided, you will never be asked to buy any books.

I give lessons out of my home studio in Tebbetts. 10 min from JC....30 min from Columbia. If you're serious about improving that's only a small investment in time.

$25 per one hour lesson.

Take one lesson to have a question or two addressed and answered, or take as many as you like.

Thanks.
