Hiring Individuals to Portray Customers in Columbia & Jeff City (Columbia, MO)

compensation: $75 for completing the training, and then $75-$150 per assignment. Each assignment requires about 1 or 2 hours of work. (Please note that no one will be paid on the evening of the training.)
The National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) is hiring individuals in the Columbia and Jefferson City areas to help us investigate whether businesses are complying with civil rights laws.

We conduct civil rights "testing." For example, if we believe that a lending agency is engaging in gender discrimination, we'll hire a man and a woman to visit the agency on the same day, and ask the same questions. These actors (or "testers") will then report back to us how they were treated. If we find that a business shows a pattern of discrimination, we'll file a complaint against them.

There will be a training for testers on Monday, May 13th, from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM CST via zoom.

Everyone who attends the training, and stays until the end, will receive $75. After the training is completed, testers will be eligible for assignments. Assignments pay $75-$150 each, plus mileage, and involve about one or two hours of work.

Participants must be 18 or older.

If you're interested in attending, please email your resume to LBenson@ncrc.org. Once we've received your information, we'll update you with further details. If you have any questions, please email them to the same address.

Please be aware that attendance is limited.
