Beautiful handmade hardwood cookbook/recipe stand. Just place your cookbook, recipe, or tablet in the stand so it can be read hands-free during the cooking of your meals.This beautiful book stand is approximately 10 1/2 inches wide by 14 inches tall, with the shoe or book rest which is 6 1/2 inches wide and 11 inches long. When not use the stand collapses and fits together to be easily stored on your bookshelf. The stand is made out of of a variety of hardwoods, including white ash, white oak, red oak, Maple, cheery, and walnut. All these hardwoods were harvested here in Missouri. As you may know, the white ash has been plagued with a wood, boring beetle, some of the lumber in these stands show signs of that Beatles activities, it adds a beautiful character to the wood, however, if you are looking for blemish free, perfect # 1 select lumber in your book stand, this may not be a good choice for you.
