I’m looking for an electrician or someone familiar with solar panels to help me troubleshoot and improve the electrical setup in my campervan.
I recently replaced my 12V 155Ah Deep Cycle SLA battery, but it’s already draining/dying quickly — even though I have two 100W solar panels connected to a Victron Energy Charge Controller and Victron Power Inverter. The system powers basic items like ceiling lights, a Maxxair fan, a mini fridge, and interior outlets.
I’d like someone who can:
-Diagnose why the battery keeps dying
-Check that the solar panels, charge controller, and inverter are all configured properly
-Suggest or implement improvements to make the system more reliable and efficient
I do have a battery-to-battery charger, but I prefer the solar setup to fully power the system if possible.
I'm located in Columbia but willing to meet in Fulton or other areas.
If you’ve worked on campervans, RVs, or off-grid solar setups, please reach out with a brief description of your experience and your rates.
