I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that Ace Frehley Les Paul is a fake. ALL the Epiphone Ace Frehley guitars were made in Korea, not China. The Epiphone Ace models have an inlay block on the 12th fret with Ace's signature in the block. (or rare twin lightning bolts) This one just has his signature at the 12th fret similar to a Gibson. The pickups should be Dimarzio pickups, easily recognizable by the dimples on the magnets and pole pieces. The ones on this guitar are flat on the magnets and pole pieces. If you were to inspect under the electronics cover, i'm sure you would see very small pots, not the full size Epiphone pots. Another sign is the flame top. The genuine Ace guitars had much heavier flame maple tops. Not much flame on this one. The guitar probably plays fine, but is mis represented, either intentionally or accidentally. Be careful, fellow KISS fans!
